About the Owner

Erick McHenry


Erick is a ASE Master Certified Technician and lives in Utah County with his wife Jackie and has four boys Kayden,Chase, Ryder, and Maverick. When Erick was in high school he won a scholarship through an automotive repair competition with the scholarship he attended the Ford ASSET program. Part of the factory training he was hired by a local Ford dealer where he received on the job training as well as his Ford Master certifications. Erick started his own automotive repair and maintenance business in 2007- his first location was out of the back of his truck moving from job to job, where he provided his customers with unmatched customer service  and honesty.  Through his loyal customer base he was able to move up to renting a single bay in a shop then continued to grow into bigger and bigger locations. Erick is a founding member of his Business Networking International (BNI) Chapter, which is a company built on slogan “givers gain”. Erick is a member of an independent panel of automotive professionals helping his High School to keep the automotive repair curriculum available and  funded. He champions the continued need for the automotive repair trade to be taught in schools in order to advance the automotive industry by continuing to interest young students in automotive repair careers.

Meet Our Staff


Patrick McHenry

Patrick is Erick’s brother and is proud of the fact that he is the older brother, but looks younger than Erick. Patrick lives in Kearns Utah with his wife Cassie, their son Arden, and their two dogs.  Patrick loves the outdoors and going camping and hiking. Patrick has been a member of Vikings team since 2010 and has become an expert at solving customer’s problems. Customers come to Patrick with confidence knowing that he truly cares about them and their vehicle’s needs.

Jason Knight


Jason lives in cotton wood heights with his wife and daughter. Jason is a perfect example of helping others first he and his wife have their 91 year old grandma living with them and take care of her so she can stay at home. Jason is Ford dealer trained and has had over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. He is our in shop chef and also loves the Denver Broncos.

Clayton Stephenson

Clayton is our newest member of the shop and is the ideal fit for the Viking Automotive team. He is excellent at helping our customers with any concern they may have. Clayton like Patrick is known for being up front and honest in all that he does and our customers can sense that while dealing with him. Clayton lives in South Jordan Utah and is a full time student in addition to working with us. Clayton loves the outdoors and snowboarding.
